On a bright summer day,woven bamboo blinds are lowered over windows or wrapped around a small balcony to shield the interior from beat and sun.As evening approuches,lights are switched
on-overbead fixture,perhaps a paper lantern with bamboo ribs that rests in the corner,or a paper globe in the entry. In late July,
flowers are arranged in a basket woven of golden bamboo,and in autumn,berries and dried leaves fill a rustic pack basket near the front door. These items are chosen to enliven the living space
and are used on a daily baisic; they both support and modify the atmosphere established by the grden and architecture.
In contenpoary as in traditional space,bamboo offers aesthetic and symbolic link between the natural and the manmade.
